Hello Everyone,

I was excited to find a forum like this to practice my creative writing skills and maybe meet a mentor and those working in this industry. This forum looks like a lot of fun!

I've have been writing on and off for many years, but it usually has been job specific. I've helped people with their website and their content marketing and worked as a copywriter in radio. The copywriting gig was by far a great experience because I basically wrote little creative skits for radio commercials.

I hope to increase my skills to work as a freelance writer for business clients, but I feel I need to work on my grammar, tone, and style in order to do that. This place looks like a great community to help me develop all of these areas.

Writing little ad jingles sounds like fun!! I like doing that too, but it's a lot harder than it sounds sometimes ha ha.
